These tags help you track various aspects of your ad campaign, such as which ad or keyword triggered the click, the device used to view the ad, and the location of the user who clicked on the ad.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>To use these parameters you need to first set up the tracking template which can be done at the account, campaign, ad group, ad, and keyword levels. <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/adwords\/answer\/6305348?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Here are all the details about how to set it up<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Using the Tracking Template<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The tracking template starts with\u00a0{lpurl} which is followed by the parameters that you wish to track down (as shown in the snapshot below). {lpurl} returns the\u00a0<strong>final URL link<\/strong> that you have added in the ad messaging, so make sure to add it at the start of the template. It is followed with a \u2018?\u2019 and the name of the parameters.
