Thankfully they are two of my work bff. We have started using <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/asana\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"202886242\"><s>@<\/s><b>asana<\/b><\/a> for task management as well &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mindswanppc\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@mindswanppc<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I mean, excel. But I also like Acquisio and I&#8217;ve been looking at ad copy testing platforms. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JuliaVyse\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@JuliaVyse<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My favorite tools that I am in daily are (1) Excel (2) Adwords\/Bing Editors and (3) Optmyzr. Other tools I use more rarely. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lchasse\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@lchasse<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Excel, Google Keyword Planner, SEM Rush and <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Optmyzr\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"1432612292\"><s>@<\/s><b>Optmyzr<\/b><\/a> more regularly. And Google and Bing editors-\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marksubel\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@marksubel<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Excel mainly and then Editor as well. Also quite like using tools like AHRefs Paid Search stuff to look at what competitors are doing with ad copy and landing pages. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/digitallydan14\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@digitallydan14<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I use <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/swydo\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"108629223\"><s>@<\/s><b>swydo<\/b><\/a> for reporting and <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/semrush\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"21896072\"><s>@<\/s><b>semrush<\/b><\/a> regularly for research, <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/spyfu\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"16441772\"><s>@<\/s><b>spyfu<\/b><\/a> sometimes for research, Keywords Everywhere and Google Ads Editor and <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/toggl\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"29165685\"><s>@<\/s><b>toggl<\/b><\/a> for time tracking. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NeptuneMoon\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@NeptuneMoon<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The usual suspects &#8211; Excel, Editors, scripts. But I&#8217;m curious what people are currently using for reporting to pull it together &#8211; Excel, 3rd party platforms, Supermetrics, Power BI, NinjaCat, etc? I think it depends on size and complexity of accounts. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LisaSanner\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@LisaSanner<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Call me old school but excel\/Googlesheets never go out of style for data work. <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Supermetrics\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"166895313\"><s>@<\/s><b>Supermetrics<\/b><\/a> for reporting and pull data into sheets. External scripts of course too. Some keyword, photos and analytic tools external from ad platforms.\u00a0Also asana does all our project management work. We have one client big on Basecamp, so we use it for them. Dropbox if we can&#8217;t use GDrive for storing the odd digital artifact from clients. Wave for accounting, payroll..ect. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/duanebrown\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@duanebrown<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Editors are SO NICE. Screw FB for not hooking it up. Tracking and visualization software is important too so you can slice your data and allocate budgets more effectively! &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/markpgus\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@markpgus<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Acquisio, Sprinklr, SEMrush &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mel66\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@Mel66<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Basically this (although I haven&#8217;t worked with Swydo). I&#8217;d add Google Sheets \/ Excel, <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Supermetrics\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"166895313\"><s>@<\/s><b>Supermetrics<\/b><\/a> for reporting, and am starting to get into Data Studio. Idk if those are considered tools? &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/akaEmmaLouise\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@akaEmmaLouise<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>we use Spyfu and SimilarWeb for outsider tools. But we also are big on GA, DART Search for management &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JonKagan\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@JonKagan<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We use <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Optmyzr\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"1432612292\"><s>@<\/s><b>Optmyzr<\/b><\/a> for automation. We created an internal PPC dash for reporting, although I preferred manually pulling from <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ReportGarden\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"1161087571\"><s>@<\/s><b>ReportGarden<\/b><\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/anna_arrow\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@anna_arrow<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We use Google Ads for keyword research, Editor for composing campaigns, Toggl for time tracking, and Basecamp to keep track of to-dos.\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marccxmedia\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@marccxmedia<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Q2: What is the one PPC tool that you absolutely could not live without and why?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I find this question hard, because good PPCers would always find a way\u2026 \ud83d\ude09 BUT\u2026 if I had to choose I\u2019d say we are tied to Google\/Bing Editors first, and <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Optmyzr\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"1432612292\"><s>@<\/s><b>Optmyzr<\/b><\/a> second as we have a bit of our optimization workflow through it. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PPCKirk\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@PPCKirk<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Desktop editors. Much faster execution speed @ scale than browser UI. Excel is 2nd more valuable but you *could* get away with Google Sheets if necessary. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SEM_PPC_MattV\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@SEM_PPC_MattV<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>editors and optmyzer as everyone said. I&#8217;ll add funnel and data studio saved a hell of time in reporting &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/360vardi\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@360vardi<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Optmyzr! &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dotcentrex\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@dotcentrex<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Acquisio for sure &#8211; oh and AdAlysis &#8211; indispensible &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mel66\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@Mel66<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If strictly a PPC tool, I think the most widely used is Adwords Editor. As far as a tool used for PPC, I would say that&#8217;s Excel.\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LisaSanner\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@LisaSanner<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Surely it has to be excel. Can you even do PPC without it? Everything would take so long and be so manual. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/digitallydan14\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@digitallydan14<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Google\/Bing Editors for sure. I use them constantly. Been with me since day one and short of having to much data and going to Power BI. So many things would take SO MUCH LONGER to do without it. What is keeping you from trying it?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rather than name tools, I just find in general budget is the problem. Biggest barrier is cost. Implementation &amp; complexity are also factors. Having the time and also a larger data set to look at. With Black Friday now come and gone. Something I can now look at with a years worth of data &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/duanebrown\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@duanebrown<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I think tool usage is often limited by types of accounts and scope of work. I don&#8217;t have a ton of experience with CRO tools because of where our accountability stopped and started. But CVR and LPO heavily influenced performance so it was a little frustrating. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LisaSanner\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@LisaSanner<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I liked <a class=\"twitter-atreply pretty-link js-nav\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/semrush\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"21896072\"><s>@<\/s><b>semrush<\/b><\/a> a lot, but cost keeps me from using the full version\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JonKagan\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@JonKagan<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tools like Optmyzr or AdAlysis intrigue me. Like most, ongoing cost is the biggest factor to be able to overcome, especially if you&#8217;re also using tools for clients like Unbounce or CallRail. &#8211;\u00a0<a class=\"ProfileCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NeptuneMoon\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" data-send-impression-cookie=\"true\"><span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@NeptuneMoon<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>we just started with SA360 for bid management.
