It is always very important to know that how people are  interacting with the landing page that you are showing to them. Landing pages play a vital role in making customer aware about your services and ultimately getting them converted.

 

Identify top performing landing page

Adwords does not show much about the landing page as you can only see the landing page by clicking on each ad copy or the other way is to download an ad performance report that we have used in this blog.

Here, we will be showing you how to find a landing page which is performing well by getting conversions. Follow the below steps to understand things better:

Step-1:

Step -2:
Click on ads tab to select all the ads

Step – 3:
Click on Filter to create a filter:

Step -4:
Select Clicks as the parameter to create filter:

Step – 5:

Create a filter with clicks greater than equal to 1. This filter will remove the ads that have not received any clicks.

Step – 6:
After implementing the filter, click on ‘clicks’ column to make it in descending order.

Step – 7:
Click on the download button and then select the format that you want the report to be downloaded in.

Open the downloaded excel file:

Step – 9:
Remove the unwanted rows and columns, just keep destination URL, clicks, cost, impressions, conversions, cost/conv., CTR, and conversion rate.

Step – 10:
Select all the rows and columns and then click on insert and select pivot table, choose the option for new sheet in the pop-up box that appears and then click on submit.

Step – 11:
Select the destination URL as the row label and all the rest in the values section near the row label box. You can just drag and drop the fields in the row label and value sections.

Now you will be able to see the selections in the sheet and then you can see the landing pages and the conversions that have happened through the landing page. These steps will help you to make precise decisions in future and also help you to take proper bidding decisions that will save you a lot of money and time.
