Bing Ads recently shared the new and upcoming features in their API product roadmap, that will help advertisers effectively manage campaigns programmatically. February month witnessed one of the major change with the right side ads being removed from desktop SERP. How that will effect marketers and businesses has been discussed widely. This will continue to remain a hot topic for coming month as well. Another change recognized was Google adding 4 ads at the center of the SERP. The removal of right side ads and addition of 4 ads instead of 1-3 ads earlier, brings about more competition amongst advertisers vying for the top slot. Soon to come are solutions and strategies to mend the lost traffic.
A major change happened on 18th Feb in AdWords world. Google stopped showing side ads completely. At the same time, the number of top ads was increased from 3 to 4. The number of ad slots at the bottom of the search result page were also increased, though the efficacy of the bottom ads is yet to be ascertained.
